Introducing Monsoon Analytics - Actionable Insights for your Online Business

 

With the new Monsoon Analytics, you’ll be able to keep tabs on what’s working and what’s not across your business, products, and online channels. From margin tracking, to profit analysis, to revenue forecasting, this new user experience will allow for deep dives into tactical issues and strategic, birds-eye views of your business. For example, if you see that a particular category is dipping lower than expected margins, you can evaluate the price floor for those items and potentially shift them to a supplemental channel.

 

 

The Stream feature will help you keep your finger on the pulse of your online business by surfacing important events that are happening in real time. You’ll get reports on how your business is doing that day, and you’ll be alerted when there are strategic shifts and trends in product or order volume, cancellation rates, revenue, and growth.

 

 

 

A major new feature in the Stream, the Watchlist, allows you to monitor existing or new products and be alerted to key moves, such as sales rank, offers, pricing changes, or buy box winners. You’ll now have predictive insights into what products you should be selling. For example, let’s say you are interested in the potential of a textbook or you want to vet a product from your supplier. You can add the product to your watchlist and an event in the stream will tell you the total offers, buy box price, sales rank, and the price you could purchase that product to achieve you desired margin.

 

 

The new Monsoon Analytics product is 100% cloud-based with a mobile friendly web interface, so you can access it from anywhere. Look for the first version to be released in October.
