Keep an eye on your Expected Ship Dates

Blog Post created by gennyr Employee on Dec 1, 2017

A quick Friday post here with an important reminder - please keep an eye on your Expected Ship Dates for orders in Amazon Seller Central. Some sellers with a prompt fulfillment track record were automatically opted into a 1-day lead time to ship (handling time) by Amazon, giving them a shorter window to get orders out the door before being marked as late. It’s especially important to monitor this for your Friday orders as they may have a Saturday Expected Ship Date.

Additionally, if you haven’t yet migrated to Ship by Region, Amazon may have sent you an alert that your account will be automatically migrated in the coming weeks. The migration date will also appear in Seller Central. Once you migrate, Amazon may shorten any custom lead time to ship values that you previously had in place. For non-media, you can add those values in the Lead Time to Ship field on the My Inventory tab in Monsoon or via a file import. Please note that if you already have values in the Lead Time to Ship field in Monsoon, you will need to re-enter those values after you migrate - that will trigger them to update.
