While the marketplaces may send a large number of emails to sellers, some of these can contain information that is urgent and critical to your business. You should carefully review all marketplace messages, as these emails are never sent to Monsoon Commerce.

  • The marketplaces use email to communicate with sellers directly about crucial issues such as the following:
    • Technical problems
    • Fulfillment rates
    • Performance issues
    • Inventory holds
    • Suspension warnings
    • Order confirmations
  • Log into your marketplace seller account frequently:
    • To monitor your feedback ratings
    • To verify that inventory and orders are processed properly
    • To check for marketplace announcements

You can use email filters, folders, and other tags to group similar emails together for easy sorting.

Beware of email communication that asks you to reply with sensitive information as it may be a scam (also known as Phishing). Legitimate marketplace communication will request that you log into your marketplace account and communicate through protected channels.

If you don’t feel confident that the communication is legitimate, contact the marketplace directly for more information.
