Overview:

The Settings tab is where you’ll make changes that impact your system and inventory at a broad level. There are three main sections: My Company, Pricing, and Markets. This lesson reviews each section in brief, and later courses will provide you with additional details.

Things to know:

When you’re getting started with Monsoon Marketplace, there are a few basic settings you’ll need to consider:

  1. Choose a time of day for yourSoftware Update Preferencethat won’t interfere with your productivity, but will allow you to get help if needed. We recommend choosing a time when Monsoon Commerce support is available.
  2. To speed up the process of shipping orders through Monsoon Marketplace, choose the carrier you use most often to be yourDefault Shipping Carrier. You can always override this default and choose a different carrier when needed.

  1. In most cases, we recommend that you set the Pricing History preference to save some level of data. If you have any concerns about how this setting could impact your system’s performance, discuss them with your Implementation Technician.
