Why do my FBA items show as Reserved instead of Fulfillable?

If your FBA items have fulfillable quantity in Monsoon Marketplace but are in “Reserved” status on Amazon, it is usually because they are either tied to a customer order or being transferred from one fulfillment center to another.

Items shipped between fulfillment centers can take up to seven days to be received. Items that are tied to customer orders can take extended periods of time to process for a few different reasons:

  • Sometimes buyers purchase in-stock items along with advanced-sale items. The in-stock items might not ship until the advanced sale item is in stock and ready to ship.
  • Sometimes ”Free Shipping” orders can take up to five days to be picked and packed. All items in the order will remain reserved until the entire order is ready for shipment.
  • Sometimes the buyer’s payment is pending. This can take up to a week.

If you have questions about specific items in “Reserved” status, we suggest contacting Amazon Seller Support.
