What is the difference between Quantity and Quantity On Hand in the My Inventory Tab? Why does Monsoon show a zero quantity for a SKU, but also shows a Quantity On Hand greater than zero?
Quantity in the My Inventory tab refers to the quantity for a particular SKU. Quantity On Hand is the total Quantity based on the ASIN. If you have more than one SKU for the same product and ASIN, Monsoon will add the quantities from each SKU together and this will be the Quantity On Hand.
You have two SKUs in Monsoon for the same item, SKU 1 and SKU 2. These SKUs have the same ASIN for the item. SKU 1 has quantity of 1 and SKU 2 has quantity of 3. When you look at SKU 1 in the My Inventory tab the Quantity field will show 1 and the Quantity on Hand will display 4. When you look at SKU 2 in the My Inventory Tab, it will show Quantity as 3 and Quantity On Hand will display 4.
If you look at the Quantity on Hand for a SKU and the Quantity On Hand is greater than the quantity, that means you have at least one other SKU for the same product. If you would like to see all of the SKUs for that product, search the My Inventory tab for the item's ASIN. Monsoon will display each SKU that is assigned the same ASIN.
